Social RFID Hacker Camp ’09—1 open to young talent Participate and let the Apollo program pay!

Can you make innovative connections between the physical and the digital world, like iKWiN! or ikRun? Do you speak Hacker language? Do you want to realize engaging interactive installations, wearables, spaces and places for people to play with? And do you want to participate in our Social RFID Hacker Camp for FREE?
The Hacker Camp co-operates as a team, only true Hackers are accepted and can participate. Participating in a Social RFID Hacker Camp normally costs € 1.250,-. For 30 students the Apollo program pays the access to Social RFID Hacker Camp ’09—1 on August 24th to 28th 2009 . You can be one of them if you have the right skills.
This applies only to students from eductional programs in Amsterdam like Articifial Intelligence, Robotica, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Interaction Design. If you do not fit this description but still want to participate, follow the instructions here.

Are you the ultimate student Hacker we're looking for?
Besides being a student from one of the educational programs in Amsterdam listed above, you need to have some of the following skills: programming, soft and hardware developing, robotics, artificial intelligence, interaction- and product design. But we might also need some people with other creative and artistic approaches like artists, graphic designers (with knowledge of CSS, Ajax, etc.) and web designers.

Okay, you're still here. That means you must fit the hacker description above. You now have a chance to obtain free access to the Social RFID Hacker Camp ’09—1. Follow these instructions to apply:

First click the RSVP button a the top of this page. If you already have a profile on Mediamatic.net, please add the requirements mentioned below. If you don't have a profile choose the 'register' option to create one according to the requirements.
Prove us that your skills, effort and motivation are a necessity for the Hacker Camp team. Include the following essential requirements to your profile:
Motivation: tell us why YOU should be in this Hacker Camp for free. So, what can you offer the Hackers Camp team?
Portfolio: show us what you can do. You can add experiences/work on your profile by adding a new contribution (choose article).
Background information: who are you and what are your dreams?
You can submit the requirements in English or Dutch. Notice that you can set the visibility permissions of your profile to "me", which means that only you and the Mediamatic staff can view your profile. For more information contact Deborah Meibergen at deborah [at] mediamatic.net.
